I’m beyond excited to finally share my latest Dry Bar Comedy special with you, Raising The Bar. This is my second time working with the great production team at Dry Bar. I think the experience was just as good (if not better) than the first taping for my Dry Bar special, Mid-Laugh Crisis. The only difference? I think I upped my game a bit—hence the title.
Let me start by saying, if you haven’t seen my first special, Mid-Laugh Crisis from 2019 is still available on the Dry Bar Comedy + app as well as on Samsung TV, YouTube, and Facebook. It’s not like a movie or streaming series so you can watch them in any order you want.
About “Raising the Bar”
Raising The Bar is full of new material I have seen and lived. I dive into everything from life’s little absurdities to those awkward moments we all try to pretend never happened.
The special was filmed in Provo, Utah. Dry Bar Comedy has some of the most loyal and supportive fan bases around. The audience for my taping was no exception. They laughed at the right parts and their energy was contagious. Being able to feed off them was a definite plus. They say comedy is all about timing, but a great audience? I think that’s the real secret sauce.
I’m excited for the release. The show’s packed with relatable topics and stories, from my day-to-day life and my experiences traveling all over the planet doing shows on land and at sea.
Plus, for those of you who like your comedy clean, this is a Dry Bar production. That means it’s clean enough to share with Grandma and the little ones. My comedy motto has always been “funny not filthy” and Raising the Bar fits that bill.
