Kathryn Kellogg is an actress, entrepreneur, blogger and zero waste advocate. She just released her book, 101 Ways To Go Zero Waste.
Raised in Arkansas, Kathryn became interested in avoiding plastics following a breast cancer scare at age 20. She evolved her lifestyle to avoid almost all non-recyclable waste. She and her husband Justin, have reduced their non-recyclable trash in the past two years down to 8 ounces PER YEAR. Of course, this is in stark contrast to the average American who generates 4.5 pounds of trash PER DAY.
She now advocates, inspires and educate others to move toward a zero waste lifestyle via her Social Media sites, blog posts and frequent media appearances. Kathryn has been interviewed on CNN, National Geographic and NPR.
