I really enjoyed Episode 4, Still Zany After All These Years. Our guest, Comedian, Bob Zany, brought me back to my stand-up comedy roots.
Bob Zany is a 41 year stand-up veteran. Not a 41-year old comedy veteran, mind you. 41 years doing stand-Up!He began at the age of 15 when he appeared on the original Gong Show.
Bob somehow got on the show even though he had never done comedy. He read jokes off a piece of paper. Try doing that on TV today.
Fortunately for Bob and comedy fans across America, he stuck with stand-up. Over four decades, he’s amassed an Ironman list of credits.
In addition to Television, documentaries and top comedy club appearances, Bob has performed in all 50 states as well as the island of Guam. Which qualifies him as a How Does That Happen Should-Be Record Holder.
